So like a digital hunger strike? I feel the same, the program has sucked all the love and excitement out of GU hoops for me and I can’t spend any more emotional energy on it. I hope to see you back very soon!

Hope this painful episode ends soon enough to allow the hiring of the best coach available before other programs snap up the best options, and that you are back soon...

Excited for when you’re back…. for several reasons.

Wish you all the best. It has been a blast following you. Hopefully, you will have reason to restart Hilltop Hoops soon.

Thanks for all your reporting and your opinions. Hope to see you back although I doubt it will be this season. Even though they didn’t win today I saw perhaps a little hope for a win.

Could not have said it better. Can’t find a more loyal fan since 1975 but until Ewing is gone so am I. My friends are shocked by my decision as I have never in a bandwagon fan or change teams in my life. But this administration and Ewing does not care about me anymore. I found them here and we had a love affair together. But I feel that my attachment to this program has been taken for granted so until changes are made, I will follow my favorite college football team Colorado as they will now be my primary basketball team. This has been six miserable years with Ewing and the“ secret contract” was devastating.

Dear Georgetown, you have lost one of the most loyal fans that you could ever have by taking me for granted. Therefore, since I care more about this program then you do, I must have healthy boundaries and let you go. Your former best friend, Hollywood Templeton.

I hope when things reset that you and some other talented writers will band together under one banner. I sensed when you lost confidence in the program but I felt the respect anyway, unlike most voices on CasualHoya which I blame for feeding the negative feedback loop on the backs of young men. Patrick's a man so if he can't handle criticism it ultimately points up a lack of maturity (and to be honest, how a great player is supposed to mature after the spotlight hits them at age 18 I'll never understand).

Thank you for the honesty, time put in, and all the hard work that goes in to putting this together. It could be thankless at times, but just know there are a lot of people that follow you, and really respect everything that you do, its really worth it to us.

Goodbye. While I have appreciated some of your recruiting comments. This campaign to fire Patrick Ewing as coach is something I have not appreciated. Georgetown will have a new coach in due time, and I hope the men's basketball team will fare better. I will admit that the constant losing has been frustrating.
